Stuffed Jalapenos



Stuffed Jalapenos



1 pound ground sausage, we prefer spicy 
8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 pound jalapenos, halved lengthwise to avoid added heat seeded
Walnut Oil to coat baking sheet

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  
Brown sausage in a skillet. Drain grease.  
I used my handy stand mixer for the next step. Use the paddle attachment and cream the cream cheese, garlic powder, and cheddar. Fold in the sausage. 
Spoon sausage mixture into each jalapeno half. 
Arrange stuffed halves in a baking dish.  
Bake 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until bubbly and lightly browned.
